Yoga workshops and retreats are a great way to dive a little deeper into your own practice alongside other members of your great, big yoga family. This helps create satsang, or like-minded community around the thing you love – YOGA! So jump in family and join the ride.
I hear time and time again from students that they love the variety, the freedom and the flow of vinyasa but they don't know how to take what they learn in class and create a home practice. This 4 hour workshop will demystify those seemingly random vinyasa sequences that you have come to love as well as teach you how to tap into your own true yoga Self in order to understand how YOU move and what YOU might need on a given day. Come explore YOUR yoga.
Hanuman is considered the ultimate Bhakta for his undying devotion and dedication to Ram and Sita. His beautiful and challenging pose, Hanumanasana, represents the giant heart opening of his existence through a gentle backbend set atop the flying splits! Talk about devotion. So how can we learn to lean back, let go and safely open our own hearts in our yoga practices? This 4 hour workshop in honor of Hanuman's birthday will walk you through many small and not so small ways to open the heart sweetly and safely and hopefully diminish the fear of backbending.
